I love Dave Lombardos isolated drum track of Raining Blood. This is so incredible to hear! After listened to this the first time I recognized how much I‘m used to hear quantized drumming. It‘s so much life in this. Look how fucking perfect it is. Best metal drummer ever. Fight me.
Vor 2 Tagen · Slayer is an American thrash metal band from Huntington Park, California, formed in 1981 by guitarists Kerry King and Jeff Hanneman, drummer Dave Lombardo and bassist/vocalist Tom Araya. Slayer's fast and aggressive musical style made them one of the "big four" bands of thrash metal, alongside Metallica, Megadeth, and Anthrax.

Jeff and fellow guitarist Kerry King were the fulcrum of the four-piece until the blonde powerhouse’s death, co-founding them after Kerry saw his future partner in thrash playing his instrument at a reception desk.
15. Mai 2024 · Slayer ’s Kerry King has said that late guitarist Jeff Hanneman may have stopped the thrash veterans from retiring in 2019. Hanneman co-founded Slayer with King, vocalist/bassist Tom Araya and drummer Dave Lombardo in 1981 and died of liver failure in 2013, aged 49.
