15. Mai 2024 · Lone Justice. Ironically, Lone Justice singer Maria McKee enjoyed commercial success as soon as the 1980s ended. You’ll know her for the track “Show Me Heaven,” which was used in Days of Thunder. McKee had been involved with Lone Justice, a band she formed in 1982. A country rock outfit, their two albums should have gained much wider recognition.

8. Mai 2024 · ‘One Too Many‘ has a different vibe to it, more commercial sounding and reminding at times of Lone Justice’s ‘After the Flood‘ with a catchy chorus and a really nice twangy guitar solo. In comparison to some of the other songs here it could be perceived as a little throwaway, however it’s an enjoyable listen.
