Loyola Academy was founded by Rev Fr T. Balaiah SJ in 1976 in Alwal, Secunderabad, Telangana. Initially began with Intermediate courses and an associate degree in Chemical technology. Subsequently other UG programmes (1978) and PG programmes (1993) were started.
