Hey, I'm trying to do a cover of Prayers / Triangles but I just can't figure out what the delay should be for the clean parts. I've been using 400 milliseconds, but it doesn't sound right to me, and the tabs I'm using don't mention it. Does anyone know what it should be?
Truth is, Gore has some of the absolute best of Deftones ever... And also by far the absolute WORST. I can't for the life of me nail down exactly why I feel that though, and that's a REAL problem if you're gonna review something. Favorite tracks being Hearts/Wires, Phantom Bride (that ending is killer), and Prayers/Triangles. Adrenaline is too rough around the edges for me but 7 words and Bored are sick. Not to mention Fist being one of Deftones first somewhat pretty songs.
