29. Apr. 2024 · April 29th 2024. It was an older venue. Built in 1931. Very unique in it's own way with the old time outside lighting, ceiling and wall artistry. Seats are a little narrow but still would rate it a 5 star. The "OAK RIDGE BOYS" WOW. We sure missed Joe Bonsall singing tenor. He had to retire in Dec./Jan. due to medical issues.
18. Mai 2024 · 1948: Joe Bonsall was born in Philadelphia. In 1973, the ex-gang member became a tenor singer in the gospel quartet The Oak Ridge Boys, who soon shifted into country music. You can hear him sing lead on hits like “Elvira,” “Bobbie Sue” and “Love Song.” The Oaks joined the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2015.
