Penn State Tuition. Below are the most recent tuition rates with room and board estimates for an academic year (fall and spring semesters). These costs are set by the Board of Trustees each year in July.
The cost of the course will be dependent upon the course location, student residency, student level (lower division, upper division, or graduate), and program college. The cost of tuition will be based on the first 12 credits scheduled.
Penn State Tuition. Penn State's Board of Trustees approved tuition rates and mandatory fees for 2023-24 on July 21, 2023. Official tuition rates effective Fall Semester 2023 are shown in the tuition schedules.
Tuition. Tuition is assessed based on a student's resident or non-resident status, campus location, level (associate, lower, upper, or graduate), major (in some cases), and credit load. For undergraduate students, tuition is charged per credit up to 12 credits.
