  4. 14. Mai 2024 · Last updated 14th May 2024. The cygnet season has officially arrived in Dorset - with the first little one hatching at Abbotsbury Swannery for 2024. The fluffy baby made an appearance yesterday morning (Monday 13th May). The Swannery has more than 100 nests on site though, so we can expect plenty more to follow!

Only a few houses were, however, built in the road before the war of 1939–45; Nos. 3–9 (odd) date from approximately 1924 and Nos. 8–10 and 24–28 (even) from the 1930's.

  7. 21. Mai 2024 · Athelhampton House and Gardens are open throughout the year. In low season (Nov – Feb) it’s open from 10am – 4pm. In high season (March – Oct) it’s open from 10am – 5pm. Occasionally it closes for a special event, so I’d always recommend checking the Athelhampton website before your visit.
