He is married to Entissar Amer, with whom he has four children, including Mahmoud el-Sisi, who has been Deputy Head of General Intelligence Directorate, since June 2018. One of his sons is married to the daughter of military figure Mahmoud Hegazy. Abdel and his wife Entissar are cousins.
