22. Mai 2024 · Ginst Point (Laugharne Sands), Carmarthen Bay. Best for: evening adventures. Only open between 4pm and 8am, access to this shell beach is managed by the Ministry of Defence. It’s often blissfully empty, but be wary of strong tides. Poet Dylan Thomas’s boathouse is nearby in Laugharne, and to the west are the better-known Pendine Sands.
