Otterbein University is a private university in Westerville, Ohio. It offers 74 majors and 44 minors, as well as eight graduate programs. The university was founded in 1847 by the Church of the United Brethren in Christ and named for United Brethren founder the Rev. Philip William Otterbein.
Otterbein was founded by the Church of the United Brethren in Christ in 1847. Those qualities have built Otterbein into what it is today: a regionally and nationally accredited and recognized university offering bachelor and master degrees to a wide variety of students.

Otterbein Overview and Tour. Your visit includes a 30-minute presentation by an Admission Counselor and a campus tour led by a student tour guide. When school is in session, these visits are offered at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. During summer, they are offered at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
