2. Okt. 2013 · Bob Seger released his tenth overall album, Stranger In Town, in 1978. It follows the major commercial breakthrough of Night Moves, and expands the practice of using two groups of backing musicians.
Stranger in Town is the tenth studio album by American rock singer Bob Seger and his second with the Silver Bullet Band, released by Capitol Records in May 1978. As with its predecessor, the Silver Bullet Band backed Seger on about half of the songs and the Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section backed Seger on the other half.

6. Nov. 2020 · Given the agreeable balance of earthy rockers and poignant ballads, from which ‘Hollywood Nights,’ ‘Still The Same‘ and ‘We’ve Got Tonight‘ emerge as truly superb songs, ‘Stranger in Town‘ could not fail to enhance Seger’s reputation as both composer and performer.
