13. Mai 2024 · I remember back in the 70s reading a biography of Tommy Lawton. Early in his career he had trials with Rotherham United and was rejected! A bit before my time and largely forgotten these days but he scored 22 goals in 23 appearances for England and became a 'legend' as one of the English greats of his generation. 13-05-2024, 07:20 PM #8.
