But she is now a ‘different’ woman, adept at abandoning him in hotel rooms every time he tries to corner her and insistent that he should go back to his working-class wife and kids.
The Road to the Racetrack brings together two people who really shouldn’t be in each other’s company, then strands them there for two hours and twenty-one minutes. The runtime is acutely felt.
