I 2023 har i overkant av 10.000 unge og voksne deltatt på Demokrativerksted på Utøya. I Demokrativerkstedet lærer de om terrorangrepene 22. juli 2011, hvordan de kan stå opp mot anti-demokratiske krefter, og hva som skal til for å verne om demokratiet gjennom engasjement og deltakelse.
