Crystal Planet is the seventh studio album by the guitarist Joe Satriani, released on March 3, 1998, by Epic Records. It was his first album to be released on Epic, whereas his previous six albums were released by Relativity Records.

Biografie. Hamm studierte am Berklee College of Music in Boston, wo er den Gitarristen Steve Vai und über diesen Joe Satriani kennenlernte. 1984 spielte Hamm auf dem ersten Solo-Album "Flex-Able" von Vai, später mit Frank Gambale, Richie Kotzen und anderen bekannten Gitarristen.
Stuart Hamm (born February 8, 1960) is an American bass guitar player, known for his session and live work with numerous artists as well as for his unconventional playing style and solo recordings.
