It's So Hard to Tell Who's Going to Love You the Best is the debut album by American folk blues musician Karen Dalton, originally released in 1969 by Capitol Records (see 1969 in music). The album was subsequently reissued on CD by the Koch label in 1997.

Um 1960 tauchte Karen Dalton mit ihrer Tochter Abra erstmals im New Yorker Künstlerviertel Greenwich Village auf, wo sie sich ihren Lebensunterhalt mit Auftritten in den zahlreichen Bars und Musikkneipen verdiente. Hier lernte sie den Folksänger Richard Tucker kennen, mit dem sie von 1960 bis 1965 verheiratet war.
