Despite the lack of progressions (compared to other Symphony X works), repetitive nature, corny lyrics, and mediocre vocal performance, Twilight in Olympus is still a good album in the grand scheme of albums. For one thing, Michael Romeo plays arguably some of his best guitar solos ever.
