The 2005 FIFA Confederations Cup football tournament was the seventh FIFA Confederations Cup. It was held in Germany between 15 June and 29 June 2005, as a prelude to the 2006 FIFA World Cup.
Der FIFA-Konföderationen-Pokal 2005 (englisch FIFA Confederations Cup 2005) war die fünfte Ausspielung dieses interkontinentalen Fußball-Wettbewerbs für Nationalmannschaften unter diesem Namen und unter Obhut der FIFA und die siebte insgesamt. Er fand vom 15. bis zum 29. Juni in Deutschland statt.
Das Turnier fand bis 2005 zunächst alle zwei Jahre statt und wurde seitdem im Vierjahresrhythmus ausgetragen. Teilnahmeberechtigt waren die aktuellen Meister der sechs Kontinentalverbände, der amtierende Weltmeister und der jeweilige Gastgeber.
