Karen K. Lewis is Joseph and Ida Sondheimer Professor of International Economics and Finance at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Karen K. Lewis is a Professor of Finance at the Wharton School, and a Professor of Economics by courtesy at the Economics Department, University of Pennsylvania. She is also a Research Associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research in Cambridge, MA and a Research Fellow for the Centre for Economic Policy Research in London, UK.

The gentleman before me I’ve known for a while, his kindness and good humour known to many, but today a mantle of grief enfolds Lewis Wharton, a scant five months since the unexpected death of his friend and Little Barrie bandmate Virgil Howe on the eve of the band’s UK tour. Die Band wurde im Jahr 2000 von Lewis Wharton, Barrie Cadogan und Wayne Fulwood gegründet. Das Debütalbum We are Little Barrie erschien im Februar 2005 bei Artemis Records . Danach verließ Wayne Fulwood die Band und wurde durch Billy Skinner ersetzt.
He’d already started gigging as Little Barrie in the early 2000s when he met Lewis Wharton at mod clothes store Merc on Carnaby Street, where the band’s future bassist was running the record department. Barrie persuaded him to stock copies of his first single, and Little Barrie were away.
