Sharat Chandra Srivastava. Owing allegiance to the 'Senia Gharana', Sharat has been active on the performing circuit for over 25 years. His distinct experimental approach led him to dabble with various genres of music. Sharat is both a Hindustani classical musician and a rock musician.
Sharat has nurtured his nascent talent, since the tender age of 7 under the legendary violinist Late Shri Joi Srivastava, his Grandfather/Guru, which has lent him rare understanding of the 'Dhrupad-Ang', a style unique to the 'Senia Gharana' under the Guru Shishya (Master-Disciple) parampara.
