Benedetta Cappa war eine vielseitige Künstlerin, die mit ihrem Mann Filippo Tommaso Marinetti, dem Begründer des Futurismus, reiste und an zahlreichen Ausstellungen teilnahm. Sie schuf Gemälde, Bühnenbilder, Tastkunstwerke und Romane im Futuristischen Stil.
