  1. Poetry for the Poisoned is the ninth studio album by American power metal band Kamelot. It was released on the earMUSIC label, a subdivision of Edel, on September 10, 2010 in Europe, and four days later in North America by the band's own label, KMG Recordings, in conjunction with Knife Fight Media.

    All songs are written by Khan, Youngblood, Paeth and Palotai except for "Where the Wild Roses Grow" which is written by Nick Cave.

    A re-release version of the album was available in 2011. (April 15th in Europe and May 10th in the U.S) Just like they're re-release of Ghost Opera, this came with: the original CD, a live CD from their Wacken concert and a DVD. The concert CD came with 8 live tracks:

    From the album, the band has released two music videos. One for "The Great Pandemonium" and one for "Necropolis". "The Great Pandemonium" was released on September 6th, four days before the official album release.   5. 14. Sept. 2010 · This is the first Kamelot album not to feature Glenn Barry, and the first to feature original bassist Sean Tibbetts, as well as being the final album with Roy Khan. The artwork was created by many artists, including Spiros "Seth" Antoniou , Natalie Shau and Michal Loranc .

  6. In trying to replicate the success of the “Elizabeth” trilogy off Karma, “Poetry for the Poisoned” has this orchestral build-up, a few riffs that seem to be building up to something, then a rousing thunderclap of… nothing. It just ends.
