16. Apr. 2015 · With no sign of a new Moody Blues album, John Lodge has created his own vision. In doing so, he has come up with a classy, confident set of songs that doesn’t try to compete with anyone, or prove a point. 10,000 Light Years Ago is simply a hugely enjoyable listen.
In May 2015 John released a solo album titled 10,000 Light Years Ago, which reunited him with Ray Thomas and Mike Pinder. He toured behind the album in 2017 & 2018. In February 2019, Lodge took his solo band onto the ‘Cruise to the Edge’ sailing out of Florida.
