17. Sept. 2023 · Irish Grinstead, a founding member of the ’90s girl group 702, passed away on Sept. 16, 2023, after a long battle. Her sister and group mate Lemisha Grinstead shared the news on Instagram and received condolences from fans and celebrities.
702 is an American R&B group that started as Sweeter than Sugar in 1993. LeMisha Grinstead was one of the original members, but left in 2001 and rejoined in 2017 after the group's disbandment in 2006.
