Florence Ada Keynes (née Brown; 10 March 1861 – 13 February 1958) was an English author, historian and politician.

Florence Ada Keynes was born on 10 March 1861 in Cheetham, Manchester, the eldest of the three daughters and three sons of Dr John Brown (1830–1922), Congregationalist minister, and his wife, Ada Haydon, née Ford (1837–1929), schoolteacher.

As an early student at Newnham College and subsequently as the wife of John Neville Keynes, Florence Ada Keynes (née Brown), (1861–1958) spent her entire adult life living in Cambridge.
Cllr Florence Ada Keynes was one of the most pioneering women of the early-mid 20th Century in Cambridge. Students of economics may recognise her as the mother of John Maynard Keynes, the economist and former Treasury civil servant.
