Perry Morris Robinson (* 17. September [1] 1938 in New York City; † 2. Dezember 2018 [2] Jersey City [3]) war ein US-amerikanischer Jazzklarinettist. Seine Musizierhaltung verband Elemente der abstrakten Improvisation und der Jazztradition mit dem Klezmer und Volksliedhaften.
Daraus entstand Mitte der 1990er Jahre die Po Band in der Originalbesetzung mit Grassi, Herb Robertson, Steve Swell, Perry Robinson und Wilber Morris, mit der er eine Reihe von Alben für das CIMP -Label aufnahm.

PERRY ROBINSON: Oh yeah, Lou and Po is a wonderful thing. That has been a wonderful group, Po. Of course, Wilber Morris just passed on. In fact, I just talked to Lou now and what we're trying to do, I haven't even told Henry this yet, but we want to get the next Po group with Henry Grimes as guest. We've been having these guests.
2. Dez. 2018 · On December 2, Perry Robinson, the virtuoso clarinetist and free-minded spirit passed away at the age of 80.
