In January 2002, bassist Grant Brandell joined Underoath. The band then began working on their Solid State debut, The Changing of Times, with Cries of the Past producer James Paul Wisner. The album was released on February 26, 2002, and produced one single: "When the Sun Sleeps".

25. Nov. 2016 · After three years away from the scene, Underoath came roaring back... but why now? When Underoath announced plans to separate in 2012, fans were faced with a farewell tour and feared that the exhausted band would never return.
Das aktuelle Line-Up besteht seit 2010 aus Spencer Chamberlaine (Gesang), Timothy McTague und James Smith (beide Gitarre), Grant Brandell (Bass), Christopher Dudley (Keyboard) sowie Aaron Gillspie (Drums, Gesang). Gillspie ist das einzig verbliebene Gründungsmitglied.
