Acid. Acid is a speed metal/heavy metal band from Bruges, West Flanders, Belgium, that was formed in 1980. The band split up in 1985 and reformed in 2019. Not to be confused with Acid (13) from Germany.
15. Apr. 2016 · Acid. Pre-dating the thrash scene by a couple of years, Acid's simplistic yet effective speed metal was a breath of fresh air to the metal scene at the time. Neither complicated nor revolutionary, they were just plain fun to listen to, to these years a guilty pleasure. Arguably one of the best bands ever to come out of Belgium.
