1963 - 1980. Al began his professional music career at the age of eleven during the height of the British Pop Invasion. He played guitar, drums, and string bass with a variety of rock and folk acts in the Washington D.C. area during the 1960's. In 1969, he went to the Woodstock Music & Arts Festival.
