Mutiny on the Bounty is a 1932 novel by Charles Nordhoff and James Norman Hall, based on the mutiny against Lieutenant William Bligh, commanding officer of the Bounty in 1789. It has been made into several films and a musical.
18. März 2021 · James Norman Hall and his writing partner James Nordoff Hall was in Paris on leave from The Lafayette Escadrille and found himself in Brentano’s bookstore. There, he discovered an old copy of the account of the HMS Bounty mutiny, written by Captain William Bligh, published in England in 1792.
