Mathieu I. de Montmorency (deutsch: Matthias; † 1160) war ein Herr von Montmorency und ab 1138 ein Connétable von Frankreich. Er war der Sohn von Burkhard III., Herr von Montmorency, und von Agnès von Beaumont.
Matthew I (French: Mathieu de Montmorency; died 1160) was lord of Montmorency, Marly, Conflans-Sainte-Honorine and Attichy. He was also Constable of France from 1138 to 1160 under Louis VII. He was the eldest son of Bouchard IV de Montmorency and Agnes de Beaumont-sur-Oise.

Matthew II or Mathieu II (died 24 November 1230), called the Great or the Great Constable, was lord of Montmorency from 1189 and Constable of France from 1218 to 1230. Matthew was the son of Bouchard V de Montmorency and Lauretta de Hainaut, [1] daughter of Baldwin IV of Hainault.
