I’m editor of the Scottish Post and the Netherlands Philatelist. I was the main contributor of articles on postal history in Stamp & Coin Mart from 2007 to 2010, writing over 70 articles. I have also written for De Postzak in the Netherlands and The Collector’s Club Philatelist in New York.
9. Feb. 2018 · With bassist Alan Wishart and his keyboardist brother Peter (future Runrig), Big Country rehearsed in a Ladbroke Grove space owned by the Skids’ Virgin label-mates The Members. The core lineup of Adamson, Parker, and Watson demoed material for CBS Records.
Before the recruitment of Butler and Brzezicki an early incarnation of Big Country was a five-piece band, featuring Peter Wishart (later of Runrig and now a Scottish National Party MP) on keyboards, his brother Alan on bass, and Clive Parker, drummer from Spizz Energi/Athletico Spizz '80. [1]
They were initially a five piece and featured fellow Scots Pete and Alan Wishart who went on to form Runrig and in Pete's case, become a member of Parliament.
