Prince Ranieri Maria Gaetano, Duke of Castro (3 December 1883 – 13 January 1973) was a claimant to the headship of the House of Bourbon-Two Sicilies . Biography. He was born in Cannes, France, the ninth child but fifth son of Prince Alfonso, Count of Caserta and Princess Maria Antonietta of Bourbon-Two Sicilies (1851–1938).
Sein Sohn Alfons von Bourbon-Sizilien (1901–1964) beanspruchte daher 1960, nach dem Tod seines Onkels Ferdinand, die Stellung als Chef des Hauses, in Konkurrenz zu seinem Onkel Ranieri, Herzog von Castro (1883–1973), dem durch den Verzicht von 1901 das Nachfolgerecht zugefallen war.
