The Florida State University College of Motion Picture Arts (colloquially known as The Film School) is the film school of the Florida State University. About 215 students are enrolled in classes, including undergraduates and graduate students , including Bachelor of Fine Arts and Master of Fine Arts students.
To apply for the College of Motion Picture Arts, you must select one of the following majors: Motion Picture Arts – Production or Motion Picture Arts – Animation and Digital Arts
Established in 1989, the College of Motion Picture Arts is one of only seven university-based film conservatories in the country. In the short time the College has been in operation, it has quickly become recognized nationwide as an outstanding motion picture production program.

The Wrap News revealed last week that FSU placed No. 13 in its list of the nation’s top 50 film schools.
