  3. Originally named 'Ox', this Hawaiian band became known as 'Seawind' in 1976 when they moved from the islands to Los Angeles. The move to the mainland was due, in large part, to Harvey Mason. He got them a regular gig at the 'Baked Potato' in Studio City, CA, just north of Hollywood.

  5. Seawind is a jazz fusion group from Hawaii, fronted by the vocals of Grammy-winning singer Pauline Wilson. The band rose to prominence in the mid-1970s. Seawind reunited in 2005 for a Los Angeles concert performance and then began work on a new album, which ultimately took three years to complete.
