This is a pretty nice cross-licensed Sammy Hagar compilation as it covers his beginnings in Montrose (1973) up to his solo recordings before he joined Van Halen (1984). Even though The Essential Red Collection is more comprehensive and has more songs, you get more Montrose songs here (other than "Bad Motor Scooter"), as well as atleast one song ...
