7:00PM. About the Show. Kevin, Nuala, and Eamon have been boon companions for many a year, sharing a love of traditional Irish music and the highest level of musicianship. When Kevin was asked to guest with them at the Michigan Irish Music Festival last summer, the seed for this tour was planted.
It features six sessions of music and conversation with Irish traditional music stars Sharon Shannon, Seamie O’Dowd, Nuala Kennedy, John Carty, Seán Smyth and more. The series is hosted by myself, Kevin, and filmed at our 120-year-old cottage in County Mayo.

Loftus Music: Kevin Burke’s Independently-Owned Record Company. In 2007, instead of embarking on a new (or renewed) relationship with an established record company, Kevin decided to start releasing his new recordings independently and therefore, “Loftus Music” was born.
Kevin Burke ( Londen, 1950) is een Iers violist . Hij werd in Londen, Engeland geboren en grootgebracht. Hij begon al viool te spelen toen hij nog maar acht jaar oud was. Hij wordt nu bij de beste folkviolisten van de wereld gerekend, deze roem heeft hij te danken aan zijn interpretatie van de Ierse folkmuziek.
