  1. Fird Eaglin Jr. (January 21, 1936 or 1937 – February 18, 2009), known as Snooks Eaglin, was an American guitarist and singer based in New Orleans. In his early years he was sometimes credited under other names, including Blind Snooks Eaglin, "Lil" Snook, Ford Eaglin, Blind Guitar Ferd.

  6. 18. Feb. 2009 · In addition to his solo career, Snooks Eaglin was also the guitarist of the New Orleans funk band The Wild Magnolias. He appears on its first album. An excellent dancing and catchy opus but far from the Blues.

  7. 21. Okt. 2015 · New Orleans Street Singer was Snooks Eaglins first LP, issued on Folkways in 1959, and That’s All Right followed on Prestige–Bluesville in 1961. Both were taped by the folklorist Harry Oster. They burst before the eyes of blues-lovers like firework displays.
