A warm welcome to Hazelwick School. I hope that you will find this website useful and informative. The intention is to give you a flavour of what Hazelwick is like as a school and community.
Hazelwick School is a co-educational comprehensive school with academy status for pupils aged 11 to 18, located in Crawley, West Sussex, England. Its alumni include former football and England manager Gareth Southgate and comedian Romesh Ranganathan.

Hazelwick is, justifiably, a very popular school, highly-regarded both academically and socially. It is a happy school; parents know that children attending Hazelwick will be joining a strong, caring community where everyone can be sure of encouragement and support at all times.
We currently have over 1800 students on roll (including 300+ in the sixth form). The West Sussex Local Education Authority has established a series of priorities for admissions to Hazelwick, and the other maintained schools in Crawley.
Teaching & Learning. This section of the website comprises a curriculum overview for all three key stages and guidance for students/parents in Year 8 choosing options for KS4. You'll also find a link to Show My Homework, a list of extra-curricular activities (clubs), careers information and information about the D of E scheme and the House System.
All students at Hazelwick follow a very broad and balanced curriculum at KS3, which consists of a wide range of subjects taught by specialist teachers. Students are grouped in ways that we feel are most appropriate to their age and ability. All of the National Curriculum subjects are taught at Key Stage 3.
