März 2024 · Allerdings haderte die Truppe von Anbeginn an immer wieder mit der Besetzung: Von 1969 bis 1971 wirkten Gil Bridges (Saxofon, Flöte, Harmoniegesang), Peter Hoorelbeke (Schlagzeug, Lead Vocals), Kenny James (Keyboards), John Persh (Bass, Posaune, Harmoniegesang), Rod Richards (Sologitarre, Harmoniegesang) und Eddie Guzman (Percussion) mit. Ab 1972 ersetzte Mike Urso den ausgeschiedenen Persh.
John Parrish joined on bass in 1962. Rod Richards became a guitarist with the group in 1966. Keyboardist Kenny James came into the fold the same year. After years of doing the club circuit, the group changed their name to Rare Earth and released Dreams/Answers on Verve.
