William Lee Currie (born 1 April 1950 [1]) is a British multi-instrumentalist and songwriter from Huddersfield, England. He is best known as the keyboard and strings player with new wave band Ultravox, who achieved their greatest commercial success in the 1980s.

A 2022 reissue of Billy Currie's Still Movement from 2004. Comprising eleven beautifully crafted pieces, the album is very much a showcase of Billy's synthesizer prowess. Cleverly utilising virtual equivalents of his signature sounds, Billy also adds his trademark violin flourishes to an inspired and heady mix.
