Varre’s ability to play in many different styles and genres (jazz, rock, fusion, pop etc.) has made him one of the most hired freelance guitarist in Finland. Varre’s playing can be heard in more than twenty film soundtracks, hundreds of session music tracks, theatre and tours.
Varre Vartiainen (born 30 September 1974 in Helsinki) is a Finnish guitarist who has studied in Helsinki Pop & Jazz Conservatory and Sibelius Academy of Music under supervision of Raoul Björkenheim, Jukkis Uotila and Wayne Krantz.

Tomi "Varre" Vartiainen (s. 30. syyskuuta 1974 Helsinki) on suomalainen kitaristi. Hän on ollut Leningrad Cowboysin jäsen vuodesta 2000. Varhaiset vaiheet. Vartiainen vietti nuoruutensa Keravalla. Hän aloitti pianonsoiton seitsemänvuotiaana, mutta kiinnostui kitaransoitosta kymmenvuotiaana.

Juni 2022 · With The Leningrad Cowboys Varre played for more than 15 years, and this venture took him on world tours and festivals such as the Glastonbury Festival, Wacken Open Air, Sweden Rock to mention a few. For a quite some time now Varre has been working with his own Trio along with stints in jazz bands.
