24. Jan. 2023 · Bassist Steve Currie would also die in a car accident in 1981. Currie joined T. Rex in 1971 and stayed in the band through 1977's Dandy in the Underworld , their final release before Bolan's death. In 2003, percussionist Mickey Finn passed away from kidney and liver problems.
