Thrills is the second studio album by the American singer-songwriter Andrew Bird, and his first with his band Andrew Bird's Bowl of Fire. It was released on April 7, 1998, on the Rykodisc label.

Bird begann im Alter von vier Jahren, das Violine-Spielen nach der Suzuki-Methode zu erlernen und schloss sein Violine-Studium an der Northwestern University 1996 mit dem Titel Bachelor ab. Im selben Jahr erschien sein Soloalbum Music of Hair.
In der Kindheit war Bird vor allem von klassischer Musik beeinflusst. Er selbst zählt Johann Sebastian Bach und Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart zu den prägendsten Einflüssen seiner frühen musikalischen Ausbildung.
