Feb. 2011 · Talking of enduring images of Cozy, I always like the slow-mo parts of All Night Long, with the slow cymbal hits. there are a couple earlier, but this one at 3.45 is how I remember him..particularly as I saw Rainbow live on the DTE tour and seeing the video on TV, the day of the Concert, was a big deal in the UK then.
Cozy Powell (born Colin Trevor Flooks; 29 December 1947 – 5 April 1998) was an English drummer who made his name with major rock bands and artists such as The Jeff Beck Group, Rainbow, Michael Schenker Group, Gary Moore, Graham Bonnet, Brian May, Whitesnake, Emerson, Lake & Powell, and Black Sabbath.
