Eric Skodis. Imperial Drag was an American rock band active from 1994 to 1997. The group, formed after the breakup of Jellyfish, released one album and scored one hit single in the U.S. before disbanding.
ERIC SKODIS - Born in New York (but, for all intents & purposes, a Los Angeles native since birth), Eric grew up in the sun-baked, laid-back, lotus-petal-eating, languid palm-tree-lined wonderland of the San Fernando Valley in the wild & wooly 1970s.
ERIC DOVER LEAVES IMPERIAL DRAG. (circa. 8/20/97) In what is described as a mutual parting of the ways, lead singer/guitarist Eric Dover has left Imperial Drag. Drummer Eric Skodis says this:
Eric Skodis, here. So, after almost twenty-five years of playing, recording and performing on "the Precious" (the Ludwig kit I assembled for the 1996 U.S. tour of the one and only Imperial Drag album), I've decided I'm selling it off to move on to another, larger kit. I thought I'd offer it to one of you fine folks who might be interested first.
Eric Skodis: Drums Their eponymous debut album was released May 7, 1996 on the Work Label, with the first single, "Boy or a Girl" released to rock and alternative radio on April 23. A video for "Boy or a Girl" was filmed with the English production team GOB-TV.
Eric Skodis is known for Battlefield Earth (2000), Race to Witch Mountain (2009) and Riding the Bullet (2004).
