The college consists of two campuses; a primary campus located at Beverley for students in Reception to Year 6, and a secondary campus at Henley Beach for students in Year 7 to Year 12.

St Michael's College grows in Adelaide's west from 1950s with strong parents' support for De La Salle Brothers. St Michael’s College in 1967 became two campuses: the primary at inner west Beverley for Reception to Year 6 and the secondary campus, years 7 to 12, at Henley Beach.
