   Nick Sheppard (born 28 November 1960) is an English guitarist. He played lead guitar for The Clash from 1983 until the band's breakup in 1986. Life and career. Sheppard was educated at Bristol Grammar School, one of Bristol's private schools, [1] and was in the same year as fellow musician Mark Stewart of The Pop Group.
