Teleman are an English indie pop band formed in London in 2011. The group consists of Thomas Sanders (vocals, guitar), Pete Cattermoul (bass) and Hiro Ama (drums).

3. Mai 2016 · Teleman: Indie-Pop für Genießer und Träumer. 3. Mai 2016. Das Londoner Indie-Pop Quartett Teleman wurde 2012 in gegründet, die Mitglieder sind jedoch schon alte Hasen im Musikgeschäft: Neben Tom Sanders und seinem Bruder Johnny findet sich bei Teleman auch noch Peter Cattermoul.
Der Bandname mag dem deutschen Barock-Komponisten Georg Philipp Telemann entliehen sein – die Musik der Band ist aber eine funky, groovende Variation des Indie-Pop. Die Brüder Sanders und Peter Cattermoul waren allesamt der 2004 gegründeten Band Pete And Pirates.

20. Okt. 2022 · Peter Cattermoul has now taken on lead keyboard duties, while Hiro Amayima switches between the drum machine, live drums and keyboards. Teleman have noted the influence of classic disco, Boney M, and Giorgio Moroder on the album.
