  1. Vini Reilly was a brilliant musician and a true artist. I was so surprised to hear some of these pieces on "The Bear" series recently, so I guess his popularity is growing. Like the late Mark Hollis, it's a shame that the greater appreciation of his work is of no further use to him, personally.

    Early line-ups

    In 1978, Tony Wilson and Alan Erasmus, later partners in Factory Records, assembled a band around the remnants of local punk rock band Fast Breeder, specifically drummer Chris Joyce and guitarist Dave Rowbotham.
